ANNOUNCEMENT 2008
We have decided to announce this due to all questions regarding this issue: Our long-time guitar player Bobby Undertaker has decided to step off from this roaring machinery. It did not come as a complete surprise but somehow it was inevitable, as one will find out when reading the Undertakers last obituary. It is with full understanding we part our ways with long-time friend and brother, so cheers to you and may Cthulhu guard your steps!!!

B.UNDERTAKERS STATEMENT:
Deathchain has come to a point where in order to grow bigger and more known as a band, more and more tours outside Finland must be done. It seems that Deathchain is going to be pretty busy on that matter. That means months away from Finland and for me, also months away from my day job. In my current situation in life, that job is something I just can’t afford to lose. Especially when doing tours as a support, usually there’s no income of any kind and for me that situation is financially impossible. It’s not fair that the whole band would be held back just because of me. Furthermore, I totally agree with the rest of the band that using someone to replace me on tours is totally lame and just plain stupid. Either you’re in, or you’re out and I’m sad to announce that under these circumstances, I am out of Deathchain.

This is probably the hardest decision I’ve ever made. Deathchain has been a huge part of my life. We have done three albums and over 100 shows all around Europe, I’ve made a lots of friends on our gigs and met great bands, not to mention the fellow band members who have become one of my best friends. I will continue playing and with Corpse we have agreed to work together in the future. I wish all the best for Deathchain and thank you for the best years of my life.

We have found a new brother, who will join our hordes under the name of Kult! There is no need to write about his past in here, because the future will show you that he is the right man for the job. We are already writing the next opus and Kult is deeply involved in the writing process, this is how strongly we trust him. So greet him with a pint of lager when you see him on this years shows!

RECODINGS OF THE NEW ALBUM:
Deathchain will head up to studio for the recordings of their fourth album on May. As an engineer and producer works band's long time live sound engineer Jari "Tupi" Tuomainen. Tupi handled the same duties on Deathchain's previous album Cult Of Death which were released on May 2007. “Death Eternal” is the working title of the upcoming album and it will be released at the beginning of October. Deathchain is known from their furious live performances and uncompromising attitude towards their deathrashing mayhem!

New year, new singer.
"We have considered the current state of the band for some time now and as a result Deathchain has made unanimous decision to change our singer. Therefore, Rotten will step aside and K.J.Khaos will take over as a fulltime member of the band. With K.J.Khaos the things just work so much better both on- and off- stage and we feel that with him Deathchain can reach another level as a band. We have known K.J.Khaos for a few years now and the chemistry has always been great between us. He's a great singer and a great leader figure for Deathchain, a true reinforcement for us. He's experienced performer and his self-confidence and charisma on stage are supreme. We want to thank Rotten for all the years with us and state the fact that there's no bad blood between any of us. We hope that this statement about the matter is not just an announcement, but a conclusion as well. This case is closed and we are not going to discuss or comment this any further in public.

The recordings of our third album "Cult of Death" will start and the end of January, and with K.J.Khaos we are ready to deliver the goods.

Deathchain would like to thank all our fans and collaborators for the past year. We have plenty of plans for the upcoming year and at the end of January 2007 we're gonna hit the studio to record our third album called "Cult of Death". Now it's time to chill out a bit and eat a few pigs.

We've been forced to cancel our show at Gloria, Helsinki. B. Undertaker is suffering from heart infection and bronchitis and the doctor's orders where loud and clear: He must rest and take it very fucking easy. This is something we don't wanna fuck around with and we have no choice but to cancel the show. It's a fucked up situation, but playing the show under these circumstances is just not worth the risk. We are truly sorry for this and we hope that everyone understands the seriousness of the matter.

Deathchain has re-signed with Dynamic Arts Records. Production of third album has already begun under the title Cult of Death. Release of the upcoming album have been scheduled to May 2007. On the upcoming album Deathchain dwells into the darker sound of Death/Thrash Metal. Some titles from the forthcoming album: Incantations Of Shub-Niggurath, Serpent of the Deep, Deathammer, In the Crypt of Vengeance ja Witchstorm. Dynamic Arts Records has also released the previous albums Deadmeat Disciples (2003) and Deathrash Assault (2005).

Things are going brutally wrong in the Deathchain camp. The recovery of Rotten's leg took a major setback and he will be forced under the knife once again. Rotten met his his plastic surgeon yesterday in hope for the best but the wounds from the past surgeries have not healed as the doctors first anticipated. The doctors are now trying to find out why Rotten's leg isn't healing the way it should. This is truly a fucked up situation but there's nothing we can do except for wait and hope for the best. Under these circumstances there's no other option for us than to cancel our show in Salo this weekend. We are really sorry for the Salo maniacs, who will be now disappointed for the second time this year. But we'll promise that we will do the show as soon as we can!

Bad news once again. The show at Qstock festival is cancelled. We know that this is a short notice but we hoped for the best 'till the last minute. Rotten's leg is still in such a bad contidion after several surgeries made to heal the infection caused by a hospital bacteria, that the doctor prohibited Rotten to travel. Travelling would endanger the recovery of his leg and therefore it's not worth the risk. This is truly a fucked up situation but we hope that everyone understands the seriousness of the matter. The Rockcock show is still on and if there's any way that we can do the show, we'll do it. We'll carry Rotten to the stage if we have to. We can give the final confirmation for the Rockcock show tomorrow morning when we hear doctor's opinion about the matter.

We've been forced to cancel our show at Jörisrock. Rotten's recovery hasn't been as fast as we first thought. He will be forced under the knife again this week and the doctor said that there's no chance for him to be on stage this friday.

Ilosaarirock. This is due to a fact that our singer suffers from a sudden and serious leg trauma which needs intense medical care and surgical treatment in hospital. We feel really bad about this, but we hope that you understand the situation. We never cancel shows if we don't have a serious reason for it.

The European tour is now over and the boys are back in Finland. We had a great time on the road, thanks to all the people who came to see the shows!
